Conservation Treatment
Treatment varies greatly depending on a painting’s needs, ABP Art Conservation offers: dust and grime removal, tear-repair, visual reintegration, dent removal, and more. Treatments are conducted in accordance with the code of ethics of the American Institute for Conservation (AIC).
Artwork Examination and Condition reports
ABP Art Conservation offers on-site assessment of paintings. Findings based on assessments can be prepared into a report, which can be used for loans, acquisitions, and sales. Preliminary assessments can be done remotely based on videos and images. Reports can be provided in English and Spanish.
Collection Surveys
ABP Art Conservation can assist in the development, organization, and execution of collection wide surveys. Collections can be a handful of paintings or in the thousands. Surveys can be tailored to your needs, gathering relevant data to inform future decision making for your collection.
